Our Weekend

This weekend was pretty crazy and seemed out of control at some points!!
Friday night Julie, Angel and I set up for Kayla's babyshower that was being held at Julie's house Saturday morning. I didn't leave Julie's until 1 am and was back up at 6:30 am Saturday morning to get things around and loaded so I could get to her house. Plus, I was nice and made an egg casserole for Aaron and the kids before I left. Leandra was leaving at 7:30 am to go to honors choir practice in Delta and would be there until 3:30 pm. We finished the baby shower and cleaned up and I was home around 2:30 pm. And I think the shower went very well. But after the late night and early morning, I was exhausted and didn't get anything done around the house. Sunday morning we didn't go to church because we had to leave by 11:30 am at the latest to get Leandra to Toledo for honors choir rehearsal. We were loaded and pulling out and the van stalled! We tried two more times to start it and it would not stay running!!! I called Jimmie and Kym and asked if we could borrow his car, so Aaron and Teanna went up to Rita's (because they were at work) to trade them vehicles and Teanna somehow locked Jimmie's keys in his car!!! Aaron went to their house to find extra keys, but couldn't find the right ones. We ended up taking their van, but was running half an hour late by this time. We arrived in Toledo 15-20 minutes after rehearsal started, but luckily they rehearsed with the orchastra first and then the choir, so Leandra didn't miss anything!!!!
When we returned home, Aaron and Ray R. were able to unlock Jimmie's car and take it to their house for them. And when they got home we switched vehicles back and the weekend finally ended!!!!!
But, you know, through all the stress and lack of sleep, we were able to laugh at all the obstacles the devil put in our way and we used our God given powers to bust through it all!!!
